3D Iguana Sculpture at Aruba Art Fair

Portuguese street artist Artur Bordalo, better known as Bordalo II, recently created a large new piece on the streets of San Nicolas for the Aruba Art Fair. The impressive 3D sculpture of the aruban iguana was made using trash and found materials.

Creating the sculpture was not easy. Great dedication and late nights of work were required to make the iguana come to life. Below is a picture of the artist making the magic happen.

The Aruba Art Fair will take place from September 16-18, 2016. If you are not able to attend the Aruba Art fair, there is no need to worry. Bordalo’s piece is one of the ten public art pieces that the Aruba Art Fair will be leaving behind, so be sure to visit the iguana next time you come to Aruba!
