YMCA of Aruba this year introduced a way of raising funds. Adding a special twist to the standard telethon/radiothon, the organization ran an “internet-thon,” and invited well known members of the community, as well as radio/television and business personalities, to drop in at their new center in Dakota to phone their friends and acquaintances requesting their contributions.
