During a press conference at the Renaissance Hotel Aruba organizers, sponsors, government officials and some of the performing artists informed the media that everything is in place for tonight’s and tomorrow night’s concerts. This is the sixth edition of the very successful Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival Aruba. This year the festival managed to attract a great line up consisting of Chaka Khan, Oscar de Leon, Randy Brecker, Sven Hammond Soul, Pete Philly, Kuenta I Tambu and many more. All performances will commence at 6.30 pm and will continue non-stop till about 1.30 am. One of the great aspects of this festival is that the crowd can freely walk between the three stages, food court and art gallery.
For the first time Eleqt has taken care of e special VIP area which is located above 40 ft containers. At this time there were only a few spots available in the VIP which organizers informed interested people can call 594-1184. The VIP area gives the spectator a unique view of both stages. Tickets are available at De Palm Tours Desk and Pelican Tours Desk at major hotels. Also they are available at Superfood, Plaza Bookshop, Fun Miles , CD’s & More and Cliffix.
We have to acknowledge that the event has grown to also attract international visitors. This year the Caribbean Sea Jazz Foundation has received bookings from Curacao, Surinam, Colombia, Netherlands and Bonaire. At the end of the press conference the organization mentioned that after each concert night they will host an after party at Barefoot Restaurant, which is walking distance from the venue (Close to the Airport).
